Afterglow

Afterglow was a regrouping of some of the musicians from classic rock band Steve's Garage, but the music focus moving more into funk, soul and R&B dance classics.
Former Steve's Garagers Arlette (vocals), Jeremy (keyboards), Greg (Bass), and myself on guitar, we added Greg's friend/coworker/bandmate Michael DiComo on drums, and this band gelled nicely into a solid and fun dance band that played mostly local wineries.
It was a really fun band, but Arlette eventually found another gig with Busta-Groove. The band split up, but the musicians played together in various forms through the pandemic in Alameda's "Porch Concert" series, and eventually Jeremy, Michael and I were recruited by Randy Chin to form Airwaves, which is really a continuation of the same path as Afterglow.
