This series started as an assignment in college art class, they were meant to be a study of complementary colors. I chose to use images of musical artists I appreciated, and liked the results so much I made many more between 1980 - 1990.

All of these are signed by the artists, but sadly, those signed in Sharpie marker have faded to almost nothing.
